We love when inspiration strikes! I was recently in my Dollar Tree when I spotted these cute little pumpkins. I loved that they had a clip on the bottom to easily attach them and thought that they would be perfect on the mantel. This easy Dollar Tree pumpkin craft took minutes to do and I think it turned out great.
The color of the pumpkins was a little too orange for the look I wanted, but I knew I had white paint at home. A little paint can make anything a little better in my opinion. Plus this is a craft definitely done on a budget.
How I painted the pumpkins:
After gathering all of the pumpkins and paint, I was able to easily take out the clip. The pumpkin is foam so I knew I would be able to insert the clips again.
Holding the fake stem, I painted the pumpkins a coat of white paint. I didn’t mind if a little pain got on the stem. As the pumpkins were drying I did realize that a second coat of paint would be needed.
I let them dry overnight before attaching the Dollar Tree pumpkins to my vine, which luckily mom had from her guest bedroom decor last year.
It’s simple, but is certainly fall. If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen in our stories that I was having a hard time choosing between which artwork to use. After a poll, this was the winner and I love it!
It really was such an easy fall craft and I have a few extras I might do something with in my other fall decorating. For me the best part is that they have the clip so I could easily attach it to the grapevine. Otherwise it would have been a lot more complicated.
