Are you ready for fall? We are! Come and take a look at our ready for fall living room tour.
Today we have partnered with 10 of our best designer friends to bring you the Ready for Fall Home Tour. You can see all of their gorgeous homes at the end of this post. These tours have got you covered with fall outdoor spaces, kitchens, mantels, living rooms and dining rooms and more. If you arrived here from Paula’s of Sweet Pea, welcome! Wasn’t her Fall family room and breakfast room beautiful? Now, we would like to show you our ready for fall living room tour.
Let’s take a tour
The room that I’m sharing today is actually referred to as the sunroom. In our house we call it the family room. I recently polled my family and friends and they call it the living room. No matter what it’s called, it is my favorite room in our house.
This room has tons of natural light everyday – hence the sunroom reference. So far, there are no real pumpkins available in my area of the world. I created a centerpiece for the coffee table, using items I already have.
Unique wooden tray
The tray is a vintage DiGiorgio fruit crate that I purchased a few years ago for just $7.00. I filled it with wicker pumpkins, painted indigo pumpkins and miscellaneous others from my stash.
The side table only needed one small change. A wooden acorn replaced a green moss ball under the cloche.
I don’t think a room needs a complete overhaul for a seasonal change.
On the other side of the room, bits of orange were added.
This sweet felt pumpkin was a gift from a friend a couple of years ago. It sits atop blue books with the blue beads that my BFF Bambi made for me.
A future project
This orange-finish bird cage is a future makeover project. When putting this room together, I realized that the bird cage looked really good in this space.
The feather pillows started out as placemats from Target. I made them about 5 years ago and kicking myself that I didn’t make a separate blog post tutorial LOL. They tie in the blue, orange and white of the room.
Who doesn’t love a miniature wheelbarrow? It is perfect for fall decor. You could fill it with acorns, little pinecones or candy.
My home tour wouldn’t be complete without my sweet Gus. He follows me around all day and has to be right in the middle of the action. Truth be told, I think he likes having his picture taken as well. LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by – I truly hope that you have been inspired in some small way today!
Next on the tour is Angie of Postcards from the Ridge. You are going to love her blue and copper decor!
