Happy Monday!  We hope y’all had a great weekend…we certainly did!  We had a fun day of thrifting & shopping, followed by dinner with some great friends.  Now another week begins 🙂

Last week I was driving home from my “day job”, when I stumbled upon this find.  I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but I knew I could figure something out.

I just loved the distressed and worn look it already had.

I spent the next few days staring at my new treasure, when it dawned on me.  I could make this into a planter for my front porch and I had the perfect spot for it!

I decided on red flowers, as I thought it would look best to bring out the color of our red door.  All I had to do was hammer in some nails and plant the flowers.  It was honestly the easiest project I’ve ever done!

I know both mom and I love when we find treasures that others believe to be trash…you just never know what you’ll find around the corner 🙂
