Don’t you just love Spring? Ā I love the longer days and beautiful flowers it brings. Ā Everything is just so much more colorful and lively in the Spring. And on days when you really need it, the season can help you forget about your worries, even if just for a few minutes. Ā I don’t know how many times I may be having a bad day and all I need to do is look outside at the birds in the trees or the hydrangeas coming back to life and I realize that my day isn’t so bad after all.

Every Spring and Fall I like to do a little front porch refresh to keep in tune with the season. I am by no means a gardner, but I do love to get out in the yard and plant fresh flowers.

I’ve always loved ferns and how they make for great hanging baskets…they are simple, but kind of quirky plants and I like that.

This galvanized tub is so versatile and I love how I can use it every season.

This is one of my most favorite picks that I’ve ever gotten from the side of the road. This vintage shutter is definitely worn, but I think it works perfectly as a planter.

The front porch was also in need of a rug, which really makes it feel like another living space, as well as more inviting.

With adding a few colorful plants and a new rug, it breathes new life into this awesome space! Have your spruced up your front porch?
