Traditional, Casual and Easy Fall Family Room Decor
When decorating for the Fall season, I like to keep things easy. This year my casual fall family room decor is fairly traditional in color. Come on in and take a tour.
There was no need to purchase anything new, as I have accumulated a few bins of decor. Each year I use these items in new and different ways. I’ve made a lot of things too, which I will share throughout this post.
Use what you already have
Usually I start with the coffee table. This antique tool chest has a large flat top. I added an oversized wood tray and then added lots of my decor pieces.
DIY
A few years ago I made this fall acorn pillow using THIS method. I couldn’t resist adding our name for Fenton Farms.
The tray holds fabric pumpkins, stained natural gourds, painted pumpkins, bleached pinecones, feathers and berries.
The feather pillows are one of our most popular posts. They were made from Target placemats.
An oversized wooden acorn is the perfect fall statement, especially when paired with a cute miniature version.
Many, many years ago I purchased this cute little wheelbarrow in Vermont while on vacation.
Little white velvet pumpkins are even cuter when piled inside the wheelbarrow.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. How is your Fall decor looking this year?
