A Halloween tablescape for book club or any occasion.
Admittedly, I don’t do a whole lot of Halloween decorating. Ghouls, goblins and skeletons just aren’t in my decor wheelhouse. Last week it was my turn to host our monthly book club. I wanted to create something that was fun, festive and non-creepy. Here is a fun Halloween tablescape for book club or any occasion.
It All Started With a Witch
Inspiration began when I spotted this cute piece of art at HomeGoods, for just $6.00
It’s cute, fun and the phrase is a little tongue-in-cheek.
Honey Bee might tell you that the hat is from my daily wardrobe, but it is actually from my Fall decor box. 😂A stack of books covered with fabric elevated the witch hat as a table centerpiece.
When I made the buffalo check bubble wreath for the front door, I also made this smaller version. It is perfect as a ring for the hurricane candle. Buffalo check pumpkins are also from my fall decor stash.
Sprinkled around the table are copper votives and candles. You can see the DIY tutorial here for Copper Mercury Glass Votives. Buffalo check burlap is used as a table runner. I cut two strips the length of the table.
Another great HomeGoods find are these cute witch napkins and plates. The witches are cute and whimsical.
When the copper votives are lit they give a warm glow to the table and dining room.
Some people refer to book club as “wine club”. There might be some truth to this, but no one over-does it.
I couldn’t resist this cute kitchen towel for extra decor. If only Alexa would actually do this!
I hope that you have been inspired in some way with this Halloween tablescape. You could use it for any party, book club or everyday decor during the Fall.
Such a classy take on Halloween decor! Bambi
How adorable! I love the print and the black and white buffalo check!
This is great inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
