Hey y’all…I’m so excited to share my casual Fall tablescape with you today! But first, can I fuss just a little bit? I don’t know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods, but if you have any sunshine can you please send it our way? For the past two weeks it has rained every-single-day! No kidding. I am over the dark and dreary days. I would love for a big ball of light to shine down on me and fill up my vitamin D tank. There’s a promise of some sunshine for today – keep your fingers crossed for us! Okay…rant over 🙂
By now I think y’all know that I love to entertain and decorate. I wanted to create a casual tablescape for Fall for an intimate dinner party. I gathered items from around the house that I like to use in my typical Fall decor – gourds, feathers, wheat and other natural elements. I wanted to add a bit of copper to the table too.
I spray painted gold chargers that I already had with hammered copper spray paint.
You know my love of feathers…I couldn’t resist adding feathers and wheat to each place setting. I wrapped them up with a piece of raffia and also added a paper bag leaf cutout that I made for each name.
I really like adding elements from nature to my tablescapes. Pinecones and berries are so pretty and they are free from my backyard.
Remember I showed y’all how I made the Cornhusk and Feather Votives?
I really like my copper Moscow Mule cups. Do you remember when Oprah made these cups and cocktail so popular? Really, all she ever had to do was mention something and it was an overnight sensation. Well, I clamored to buy these cups however many years ago that was and I’m so glad I did. These cups are now three times the amount I paid for them. And as a side note…I miss Oprah and her daily show.
So, there you have it. This tablescape came together so quickly and organically – casual and carefree. Now I’m off to look at recipes and gain some inspiration for supper and what to serve my guests. And don’t forget to send some bright sunshine our way!
Until tomorrow…

Beautiful table and great photos too! I’ve got Moscow mule mugs on my Christmas list 🙂
Love the natural elements and the arched candle holder. We are cloudy here today or I would be happy to send you some sunshine.
