As y’all may have guessed by now, Jennifer and I are very close. We love to talk, shop, cook, thrift and a multitude of other fun things.

Years ago, we watched the movie “Jane Austen Book Club”. Did you ever see this film? The story focuses on a book club that was formed to specifically discuss the six novels by Jane Austen. Each of the book club members lives parallel the experiences in the themes of each novel.

We excitedly chose and started with “Persuasion”. Personally, I started reading the novel that evening. I didn’t get very far. Of course the novel is written in proper, Old English of the 1800’s. I had a headache by the end of the first chapter 🙂 I didn’t want to confess to Jennifer that I was too lame to continue to read this fabulous classic. About a week later Jennifer asked how far along I was in the book…I had to come clean and tell the truth. She laughed out loud and said she quit reading it as well. So, like any great mother and daughter – we watched the movie Sense and Sensibility! Love this version of the movie…
