Hey there…I hope your week is off to a great start! We’ve been super busy with projects and painting furniture. We can’t wait to show you all that we have created in the next couple of weeks.
Today I want to share with you my Coastal Inspired Summer Mantel decor. A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate to go on vacation to Anna Maria Island, Florida. Honey Bee and I enjoyed a fantastic week there spent with friends. When we came back home, I wanted to recapture the light and colorful feeling of the beach in my home. I didn’t want to go all out “beach” decor but I wanted to use the colors of the sea on my mantel.
Believe it or not, I already had all of these glass vessels in my stash. I know, I know…it may seem like I’m a hoarder – but in a good way 🙂
I had never been to Anna Maria Island before, and was so surprised with how beautiful the water was. It was postcard perfect, azure blue and crystal clear.
All of these colored-glass containers reminded of the pretty water. Don’t you just love all the vibrant hues of blue and turquoise? The fresh greenery is like the tropical foliage that surrounded our beach oasis.
This bleached grapevine reminds me of driftwood.
Don’t these turquoise bottles look just like you are swimming under water?
I can’t tell you how happy it makes me each day to look at my mantel and pretend that I’m still on vacation…if only for a little while.
XO~Vicki

Oh this island girl is loving this beautiful mantel. I like to use Manzanita branches similar to this because it reminds me of coral. Simply beautiful.
