Hey y’all…I can’t wait to show you today’s table makeover! This plant stand was a freebie to me from a friend. She was going to toss it in the trash bin but then remembered that I liked “old, broken things”. I’m embarrassed to say that I left the table in this condition for several years as I used it as a “temporary” solution as a TV stand.
Being that I finally painted the armoire that now houses the television, it was time to improve this sweet little table. It’s a bit chipped up…
…and in my exaggerated opinion has about 50 thick coats of paint. Being that I’m using this as an accent table, I didn’t want to take tons of time sanding and stripping this piece. I decided to mix up some creamy white chalk paint and set to work.
Little accent tables like this are perfect for any decor. They can be tucked into any corner or empty space and it adds lots of character. I already know that this one is going to get moved around my house quite a bit.
Y’all know I love my vintage trophies 🙂
Thanks for letting me share my latest furniture makeover with you. Have you painted anything lately?
