Hey y’all…I hope that you have been graced with a bit of Fall Fever! Maybe some lower temps, crystal blue skies or your first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season. Here in Blogland we tend to decorate our homes earlier than most, but we hope that you are inspired by what you see here and think of ideas for your own home.
Jenn boarded a plane last night for another “business” trip to Ireland. Did you see her beautiful photos from her trip just a couple of weeks ago? Does that look like work to you? LOL I didn’t get my much anticipated invitation to travel as her assistant, so I’m holding down our empire and decorating more of my home for the autumn season.
Today, I am sharing my Fall Coffee Table.
Y’all know how much I love my trophies – vintage and reproduction. They were the cornerstone inspiration for the table and I layered my ideas around the trophies. I didn’t want to spend any money on this tabletop so I shopped my own home .
I started with my wooden tray. You may remember that this is a vintage cutlery tray.
Now before you ask, no – I do not have a drinking problem. I mean, I do love red wine but that is not how I obtained all of these wine corks. We have a favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant that we try to frequent once per week. Our very favorite server of all-time is Jennifer. Each week she makes sure that I leave with a goody bag of wine corks to take home because she knows that Jenn and I do lots of projects. How sweet and special is that?
Feathers are special to me as well. I have collected many while out on nature walks. The brown and white one is a gift from my sweet friend CoCo of The Crowned Goat.
Jenn painted this thrifted tray awhile back with chalkboard paint. I can’t remember if she gave it to me or I just took from her house LOL. That’s what happens when you travel to Ireland without your mother!
I free-handed the chalkboard art.
The orange fuzzy balls are from my stash…
I especially love this trophy with the pheasant finial…
I added grapevine twigs and these faux rust colored berries for added color…
My only new purchase was this super cute pillow from HomeGoods…
What does the fox say? “Happy Fall Y’all”!
Let us know what you’re up to. We would love to see your Fall decor!
Until tomorrow,
Vicki, this coffee table is STUNNING! I hope I don’t look like a crazy pants when I start pinning all these picts. I love how you mixed the trophies with so many natural elements. Just beautiful! PS save me some spagetti. That stuff is amazing. Hugs, Coco
Vicki so pretty and unique. Just Love!
Kris
That is a beautiful vignette. I really like how you used the trophies and all the wine corks.
Drooling over this vignette! The trophy with the pheasant is awesome! Love it!
Love your coffee table for fall, Vicki! The trophies make it!
Thanks so much for linking this up at the Bewitchin’ Projects Block party this morning! I am absolutely in love with how beautiful the vintage trophies and the chalkboard look together with all of the pretty corks. How lovely! Thanks again for linking up and have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs, Lisa
Love this tabletop decor. I have a bunch of corks waiting for a use…I might have to try incorporating them into our fall decor. And that fox pillow is too cute!!
Vicki, I LOVE this table styling!!! If my son wouldn’t knock over those gorgeous trophies, I would copy it in a second!! I’ve pinned it though, for others to see! I know they will love it too!
Love all of the wine corks!
simply BEE_U_TEE_FUL. I LOVE feathers also. In fact a friend just gave me a few turkey feathers to use in a floral design for our garden club display in November. If there is anyone out there with some unusual feathers, I would be more than happy to take them off your hands. I have been looking for hawk, pheasant and whatever…I love your trphies, corks etc. Just gorgeous.
Stunning ladies! I love all the vintage trophies! Now if I could only find one or two… love your new pillow too! Thanks for linking up with Dream. Create. Inspire. Link! I’m pinning your lovely vignette!
