Hey y’all – we have literally just returned home from our very first bloggers conference! We are exhausted, exhilarated and we learned so many new tools and information. Plus, we met so many talented and smart women who have been blogging a long time. We will tell you more about the conference later.
Right now we want to share with you a super-cute frame that we made in one of our classes. It takes just a few minutes and a few steps to create this beauty!
When we walked into class we were greeted by the adorable sister blogging team of Shanty 2 Chic. Admittedly, we were a tad starstruck as these girls are blogging and DIY superstars! They had the room readied for our craft project…
…and then we got down to business 🙂 All we needed to do was choose a stain color provided by Rustoleum and in these easy steps – our cute frame was complete!
- Rustoleum stain
- 10 inch square of wood
- Burlap wired ribbon
- Metal clip
- Hot glue
Make a burlap ribbon bow and hot glue onto your board. Glue the metal clip below the bow. Voila!!!!
I couldn’t wait to get home and do a quick photo display…
This photo of Jennifer is very special to me. It was taken by one of her uncles when she was just one-year-old. Just precious 🙂
I hope you try making a DIY rustic photo frame like this for yourself. It was so quick and easy, I plan to make a whole bunch for gifts.
Now, I am headed to bed…too much conference fun 🙂
