The finishing touches are complete. Christmas bedroom decor is guest ready.

Christmas bedroom decor is special in my humble opinion. When you add said decor to a guest bedroom it somehow becomes magical. Visions of sugarplums, Santa Claus, Buddy the Elf, falling snow and special presents seem to take ahold of your bedtime dreams. I just love adding a bit of Christmas cheer to the guest bedroom in readiness for overnight visitors. This year is extra special as it is the first time my entire family will be together for the first time in 7 years!!

Vintage Decor

Who can resist navy blue buffalo check? Not this girl! Especially when it is paired with red plaid and a super cute vintage Christmas truck pillow.

The vintage vehicle pillowcases were just $7 at TJ Maxx. They look great layered with all of the other colors and textures.

Oh Deer

Last year after Christmas I scored this super cute deer head bust for just $5 at HomeGoods. For the life of me I can’t figure out why no one else snagged him up. Look at how cute he is tacked up above the bed. So sweet.

On the dresser next to the bed I added a vignette of Christmas inspiration. A beloved Santa that I purchased when shopping one year with my mother. Actually we purchased several that particular day because they were such a great deal.

The Christmas tree sign was a new purchase from my local TJ Maxx at just $7. I don’t remember where I bought the driftwood Christmas tree, but I love the rustic look and feel it brings to this vignette.

Metal laurel wreaths are hung in the windows with Command hooks. I added simple bows made from red plaid wire ribbon. Strung between the two is a message of Merry Christmas.

On top of the armoire the only addition was a plaid-attired Santa. He looks pretty dapper with fur trim.

On the side table are items of red and reindeer.

My aunt’s mother-in-law handmade and painted this Santa Claus years ago. Isn’t he gorgeous? I thought he deserved a place of honor under a cloche with two white bottlebrush trees.

The red gas lantern is an antique. Mixed with the bed and breakfast sign and other items they blend so well together.

On the other side of the bed I added a bit of whimsy with these adorable winter foxes.

I wish I had a sweater as cute as this!

Hopefully our guests will appreciate these special touches. If nothing else, it definitely brings the joy of the season to their lives and hearts.
