Welcome back to All the Buzz!
All the Buzz is a weekly wrap-up of our favorites and observations of the week. Here’s the latest and the greatest! All the Buzz – Moment of Reflection.
A Hard Anniversary
It’s hard to believe that today marks the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I’m sure that every single one us knows exactly where we were on that tragic day. More importantly, remembering how we felt. Scared, sad, mad – we personally ran the gamut of emotions. Today we honor the 3,000 people that lost their lives and the nearly 6,000 people that were injured. We especially pray for their families and friends who undoubtedly mourn their loss every day.
The parts that we choose to remember most about that day, and the days following, were how our country came together as a nation. Proud to be Americans! Respectful, kind, helpful, caring. The lesson for Jenn and I is that we don’t need a tragedy to choose to be respectful, kind, helpful and caring.
Today we will participate in a patriotic memorial walk to honor all affected by 9/11.
Discoveries We Love
Lately I have been obsessed with copper cookware and kitchen utensils. I happily found Rabbit Hill Style! In this post they offer tons of great information for quality, collecting, care and more!
Favorite Instagrammer This Week
Susan @kindredvintage has fabulous style. Just look at her fall porch from last year!
Favorite Home Tour
We have shared Leslie of My 100 Year Old Farmhouse before. We don’t think that we’ve shared her farmhouse fixer-upper in Waco, TX decked out for the fall. See the entire fall tour here.
Favorite New Cookbook
It’s no secret that I want to be BFF’s with Kelsey Barnard Clark. She is a fabulous chef, restaurant owner and so much more. Kelsey owns a restaurant, KBC Kitchen, in Dothan, Alabama. She is also a past winner of Top Chef. You might remember that Honey Bee and I participated in an online cooking class with Kelsey last year. Her cookbook just hit the stores on September 1st. I’m anxiously awaiting my copy!! Kelsey, call me!
Charlotte Reiss is a Brit, who married an American and started a family while living in the USA. They just moved to France and she shares her beautiful daily life!. Her company is called Vivi et Margot in honor of her two daughters. How sweet is that?
