We have changed a few things up for our summer living room decor.
How are y’all doing with your Summer Bucket List 2019,50 Fun Ideas? We’ve completed 32 out of 50 items already. We are fairly happy with this. Definitely, being mindful of the season and purposely trying to slow-down the pace of everyday life has been helpful! Part of making this season easy and breezy we added only a few touches to our summer living room decor.
The living room is already light and filled with bright sunshine.
Fresh cut hydrangeas from the yard are always inside the house, throughout the summer.
A single starfish gives just a hint of a summer beach vacation.
White slipcovers help set the tone for casual comfort. They are so easy to wash and dry – no ironing necessary!
The white painted end tables are easy to clean as well.
An antique minnow bucket and beach-colored glass are reminders of summer, too.
For us, this pillow cover means…all roads lead home.
Not much changed on the fireplace mantel. Blue and white KLM houses in front of a moss topiary are the focal point.
It’s important to surround yourself with fabulous friends. Luckily, my friends are generous and have great taste. My dear friend Linda gifted me this beautiful chinoiserie planter.
Another sweet friend, Debra, made me this fabulous succulent planter!
It looks fabulous atop this beautiful blue antique book.
Our summer living room decor is classic, comfortable and easy. Have you changed your home decor for summer?
