Well if the title of this post gives you any indication, our cute Atlanta cottage that we have called home for over the past three years, is no longer our home. We have loved this 2 Bedroom house, as well as the neighborhood, but with home prices increasing and us wanting more space, we decided now was the time to sell and buy something new. Ā And we were incredibly lucky because our home was under contract within 24 hours of it hitting the market! Ā We were also slightly panicked as we had no where to move into yet. Eek! Ā But more on that next week š
This house has been a labor of love, from painting the exterior, to refinishing the hardwood floors, to completely gutting the kitchen and more. Ā I have always loved old homes and so far in my short life, this has definitely been my favorite home I’ve lived in. Ā There is just something about the character of an old home that is hard to find in a new home. Ā I remember when we first walked into the homeā¦we thought it was so cute and had great potential, but we were totally sold when we walked into the master bedroom. Ā It was huge! Ā Not what I was expecting to find in a 1930’s home at all and is definitely what pushed us over the edge to make an offer. Ā With the help of family, we turned the outdated home into one that was perfect for us. Ā I have what I call an eclectic style. I love mixing old, new, and rustic/industrial aspects into the design, and I really feel like that comes through in the home.
I know that you all have seen glimpses of my home in the past, but I thought it would be a nice farewell to do a home tour of a place that has brought me much joy.
Although it is sad to leave this house behind, I am excited for the next chapter! Ā I can’t wait to show you the new home, so be sure to check back next week for a glimpse. Ā Wish us luck as today is moving day!
XO – Jenn

Jen, Your home was sooo beautiful and I don’t think I ever saw the full home tour so the pictures are fabulous and I can definitely see why it sold so quickly. I’m wishing you two the best of luck on your new journey and search of finding your next fabulous home. Lisa
