Hey there…We hope you enjoy todays craft as much as we do. Consider this your fair warning…this craft is highly addictive 🙂

Have you ever heard of The Graphics Fairy? Her site can be found here. I have been using her graphics for quite some time now – usually for a crafted gift card. Don’t visit her site until you have a significant amount of time to escape in her graphics collection of over 4,500 images. I’m not kidding! The images are cute, crisp and so fun. I prefer the vintage and rustic images that she offers for FREE!!!

I decided that instead of a gift card, I wanted to create some framed art pieces. Her site gave fantastic directions for printing on fabric. I had all of the necessary materials so I got to work.

Here’s what you need:

  • 8 1/2 x 11 card-stock
  • muslin fabric
  • scissors
  • spray adhesive
  • parchment paper

I covered my outdoor table with parchment paper to protect it from overspray.

  1. I printed photos on fabric the same way and made a memory quilt for my daughter. I ironed them with a hot dry iron to set the ink but going to tell her to be very careful washing it so they don’t fade away to nothing!! Do you have any other ideas for setting the ink because I plan on making another quilt for my older daughter as well. I have asked some of the ladies from the local quilting club, but none of them had ever done such a thing. I am NOT a quilter, so they will definately be “one of a kind.” Really just put it together.
    Thank you.
