Hey there…today we bring you a quick post including some very quick artwork…in just 2 minutes!
I wanted to add some artwork to my desk area upstairs. I really love quotes and wanted to create something pretty and inspirational to look at while I’m working.
Recently, I was browsing the App Store and came across Rhonna Designs.
This app allows you to add your own flare and personality to your personal photos or creative design. I believe i paid $2.99 for the basic package which includes multiple layers of fonts, graphics, color, words and a multitude of design elements. Here’s an example page:
You have the option to add-on more layers for an extra fee. So far, I find that the basic plan offers enough variety for me. I definitely like the option of adding on more later.
Remember that vintage book that was falling apart? The one I purchased for .25 cents at a yard sale? Here is another project I made using these same book pages – paper roses
I wanted to print my quotes out on pages from the book.
I began searching Rhonna Designs and found there are multiple auto populated quotes. I chose the phrases that I wanted and selected font color.
This is a portion of what I created…
It was just that simple. I love a project that takes just a few minutes to create – start to finish. The book pages fit easily into my printer and I love the antiquated and vintage look the pages create. I already had both frames stashed in a closet.
I’ve been updating different rooms in our home. I’ve been sidelined with a broken ankle and I must admit…I have not been having fun. As soon as this cast comes off, I’m ready to dive into all of my projects. My desk area was one of the spots I’ve been updating. I can’t wait to add my new inspirational quotes and show you what I’ve been working on.
Have your created anything new lately? Is there an artistic App that you love? Please tell us about it 🙂
Two minutes of awesomeness! I’m loving!
Thank you CoCo…I was very pleased with the final look. Thinking of other graphics to print now 🙂
You guys do the coolest things with book pages!! I love this idea!
Thanks Amy! This project was fun and truly only took 2 minutes to create! Thanks for stopping by!
Love this!! I’m already thinking of doing this to incorporate into my holiday wrapping! I always do a solid neutral paper & bright holiday color ribbon ~ how cool to print some of these and layer on top as an additional spot of color with different messages for the recipient. Going to the app store now! Bwg ~~~
You won’t be disappointed! you can put overlays on top of your own photos…great tutorials too 🙂 You could do some really cool things with your upcoming vacay and water photos…Have fun!
Vicki & Jennifer….AMAZING! You girls are so creative. I would have never thought to print on book pages and that looks so fantastic and easy. GREAT IDEA!! hugs, Lisa
