Easter Table Settings – Casual Place Setting
Happy April everyone! Time is definitely marching on at a pace that is a bit too quick for me. Easter is less than two short weeks away – can you believe it? Recently my thoughts have turned to this holiday and how I will be celebrating it. Our family is a bit scattered now – we live in different cities, and dad will remain in the hospital for the next several weeks. I am craving a small, quiet gathering for Easter that is no fuss and easy to put together.
A few weeks ago I had the great fortune to happen upon a Target store. You can only imagine my excitement when I spotted the red and white bullseye. I only had a couple of minutes to spare so I knew that I was going to be limited to shopping the Dollar Spot section at the front of the store.
Target did not let me down. Aren’t these fabric carrots adorable? They instantly found their way into my basket – I knew they would look great on a festive Easter table.
Our family doesn’t have any little kids anymore, but that doesn’t mean that the Easter table setting needs to be boring.
I started with a white dinner plate.
This cute and colorful polka dot plate was from THIS tablescape. It matches the carrots 🙂
The pale blue egg-shaped plates are from the Dollar Spot too! I just knew they would look great for the table setting.
The grocery store had these spring green flowers. I cut each bloom off and added them to small white ceramic vases.
Remember these cute Easter treat bags that I shared with you last week? They can pull double-duty as a place card for each person. Then each guest has a goody bag to take home with them.
Colorful, fun and super easy to put together. Effortless decor is my favorite kind!
How do you decorate your table for Easter?
We will see you back here tomorrow!
Nicely done.
That’s fun and fresh. I can see doing that with paper for the kids’ table. Grins, Sandi
You guys always find the best stuff at Target, I swear! I love these fabric carrots and the fun way you’re celebrating Spring this year. Continued hugs and prayers for your sweet dad, CoCo
