Welcome to our monthly installment of our DIY Housewives Series! This month we are super excited because our theme is all about DIY light fixtures.

Let’s get started. Lamp makeovers are probably our most favorite kind of DIY. The transformation is almost instantaneous – we love the instant gratification 🙂 Using spray paint makes for quick drying time too.

We had a pair of these perfectly fine lamps. The problem is they no longer fit or tied into our current decor and design.

Nothing that a couple of coats of blue spray paint can’t handle.

Adding a new bright white lampshade also made a big difference.
