Do you remember the cute Valentines Day clay gift tags we made?
You can read that post here and get the clay recipe. This is a super easy craft using baking soda and cornstarch.
Roll it out like pizza dough…but don’t eat it 🙂
At that time I also made some cutouts in the shape of a house.
My friend was moving into a new home and I thought I could create a special gift for her.
This is the completed clay gift tag. I love how bright-white it is. This tag is very durable but do not get it wet…it will dissolve.
I made a “New Home” tag and added the vintage skeleton key from my personal collection.
My friend loves all things vintage as much as I do. I added the tag to a vintage, aqua Mason jar using twine. Before I presented this to her I filled it up with her favorite treats.
I also gave her a framed print of her gift. I printed this out on watercolor paper and I used the Waterlogue App for iPad.
She really loved both of her housewarming gifts and I loved making them for her. What do you like to give for a housewarming gift?
