If anyone has been following along you will know that I was eating pretty well for a while and was really proud of myself. I was eating clean and feeling really good. But I let life get in the way again and started to make some not so wise choices. Things like burgers, fries, cookie dough ice cream…you know, the things that make me feel better momentarily, but are probably clogging my arteries before I even put it in my mouth. Then after the high from the sugar and carbs is gone I feel guilty about what I just ate and ask myself why I ate it?
I told myself this week that enough is enough…I am an adult who makes my own choices and I need to stop making the wrong one’s when it comes to food. I really am tired of food having this control over me. Plus, I need to fit into a wedding dress in less than 3 months darn it!
I used to make this recipe often, but somehow forgot about it. As I was looking for inspiration on healthy and flavorful recipes, I came across this one for chickpea burgers that I had found years ago. I knew that it would be on my menu for the week!
This really is such a great recipe that is healthy, flavorful, and filling! I don’t know how I ever forgot about it 🙂
