Happy Monday! We are in the final push for the wedding. This past weekend we got a lot accomplished and crossed off the “to-do” list and it feels really good šĀ
Today we are showcasing last years Fall Tablescape…enjoy š
When I decided to do my Fall tablescape this year, I knew that I wanted it to be different from years past – I wanted to bring in a little color. Ā My dining room is very neutral so I knew I needed a pop of something so that it would stand out and not blend in with everything else in the room. Ā I decided to use turquoise and copper. Ā I have a bit of Ā turquoise in other rooms of my house and I love how copper shimmers and compliments the bright turquoise.
I already had the large square dinner plates. Ā I picked up the beautiful peacock luncheon plates at TJ Maxx and they match my square plates perfectly. Ā Each place setting has:
- a vintage ink well ( I have a collection)
- peacock feathers from my stash š
- a framed vintage photograph of each dinner guest
- clickĀ plaster leafĀ for the tutorial blog post
- peacock ribbon embellishment to a white napkin
I added plaster leaves and feathers to an aged wine vine branch in the center of the table.
I spray painted pumpkins with hammered copper. Ā I just love this vintage photo of my Honey Bee!
For the chandelier I laid curly willow branches around the arms and added round peacock Ā feather ornaments.
Copper pick-berries, branches from my yard and white plaster leaves decorate this vase on the sideboard.
Hmm…I wonder who that cute little girl is š
I love the blue hue of this inkwell…
Another place setting …
Aged wine vine branch as my centerpiece, complimented with plaster leaves and feathers.
I really enjoyed putting this tablescape together…thanks for letting me share it with you š
I would never have thought to put turquoise and copper together for fall! I’m pretty sure this us decorating genius!
Thanks CoCo – we love the combo too!
Vicki, WOW I love your Peacock themed Fall Tablescape!!! So pretty. Did you know we get peacocks walking through our neighborhood every now and again. There feathers are so beautiful and so is your table!! LOVE!!! have a great day, Lisa
Lisa – How lucky and fun for you to have real peacocks walking through your yard!!! I think their feathers are so pretty…and they did look really good in my dining room š
What a great table! Your attention to detail is really what sets it apart. The framed vintage photos take it over the top (in a good way). What a special table for your guests. Thanks for sharing it.
Nancy we appreciate your kind comments so much! The vintage photos are so much fun!
Stunning! Tourquoise is one of my favorites. Would never have thought of putting it with copper, but copper is perfect for fall! Inkwells are sooo cool!
