Everything is coming together for Fall and it makes me giddy! Now, if only that cooler weather would kick in, but it seems like it’s almost here. Today, I wanted to share with you my Fall Mantel. I’ll be sharing more of my home next week, but just wanted to give y’all a little sneak peek. I have said it before and I will say it again, this house has a lot of mantels…four to be exact. And while I am so lucky to be in this amazing Victorian home, it can be a little difficult decorating all of them.
I wanted to change up my decor for my Fall mantel, but I also wanted to do it on a budget. I have had these vintage purple bottles since my wedding 2 years ago and if you can believe it, I have not utilized them in my home decor. What was I thinking?! They are gorgeous and I knew I just had to incorporate them this Fall.
Also, just a side note, but isn’t this cast iron fireplace cover beautiful?! Such an amazing original detail to have in our home. (This post contains affiliate links.)
I got this wooden crate for an amazing deal at a local antique store. At the time I got it, I had no idea what I was going to use it for, but I just had to get it.
I love the detail on this vintage bottle.
Then, this Fall leaf in the background is a printable I got from A Night Owl Blog. I already had the frame and it instantly became free art to bring some height to the space.
I also used vintage spools I already had to bring more height to the glass bottles.
I wanted to add some sort of floral element to the Fall mantel and decided that wheat and baby’s breath would be the perfect combination.
I think it looks great in the vintage seltzer bottle crate if I do say so myself.
This mantel doesn’t necessarily scream Fall, but I wanted to do something a little different this season. I tend to be more simple when it comes to my home decor and this really fits my aesthetic. The purple bottles on the mantel just really pops and I love the use of vintage and rustic elements. Be sure to join us next week to see more of both our homes!
XO, Jenn
Great job on this mantle Jenn! The purple is such a fresh take on fall decor. Can’t wait to see more, hugs, CoCo
Those purple bottles are gorgeous and so is the crate! They compliment each other beautifully. I’m really loving non-traditional fall decor this year.
Your mantle looks beautiful Jenn! Love that antique box and the spools too! Can’t wait to see your full tour!
Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for the crate? I agree, it is very cool.
Lovely! I appreciate any post on decorating for autumn & Christmas!
Love it Jenn! The purple is gorgeous! I think warm and textural fits fall and you nailed it! 🙂
Sweet! love the lavender bottles and the flowers!
