Hey y’all…today’s blog post is brought to you by the color green!

Our friend Meg from Green With Decor invited us to participate in a blog hop that is all about decorating with the color green and St. Patrick’s Day. You can follow along too…at the end of the post you can see all of the other fab green decor from other blogger’s.

Looking around my house I realized that almost every single room has a shade of green in it. For today, it’s all about my living room.

Decorating with green

In preparation for Spring I’ve moved some things around the house and pulled other items out of the closet. I changed the pillow cover to the painted wing chair. Does anyone know what this pattern is?

I moved this topiary from an upstairs bedroom to the painted end table. I’m wondering why I didn’t do this sooner.

I love how the fresh, bright green pops against the blue.

I don’t do a lot of decorating for St. Patty’s Day, but I couldn’t resist this adorable chalkboard sign from HomeGoods for $4.99.

I know that I’ve bragged to y’all before about this large green vase…it was a $3.00 yard sale score! The beach glass was collected on a special trip with friends.

The sea glass is so beautiful and smooth. I wonder how long it was in the ocean before it looked like this.

This sweet little tool caddy was $3.00 from the Target Dollar Spot. I swear…the Dollar Spot is located right at Target’s front door and I can never pass it up. Everything is so cute!

I created the artwork on the right and will be sharing more of it with you later.

  2. As always, beautiful!! I used to decorate with green all the time, and I think I needed a change when we moved into this house. I’m still waiting for it to swing back around and become a thing for me, since it’s one of my favorite colors. I’ll enjoy this until then though. 🙂
