Hey there…we hope that y’all are enjoying our wedding recaps 🙂 Even though the wedding was just three short weeks ago, we love taking this visual trip down memory lane! Today we are showcasing the wedding guest book. We knew that we didn’t want a traditional book for our guests to sign their names in. We wanted something that was more interactive for our guests and meaningful for us. By meaningful, you know I meant vintage, right?
On Etsy I found this vendor – Bursts of Creativity – who had 100 unused, vintage postcards collected from all over the world. Perfect!
I knew this was exactly what I was looking for. Our guests could peruse the postcards and select which card they would like to write there sentiments on. Aren’t these designs details beautiful?
After the guest wrote congratulatory well wishes on their postcard of choice, they placed it in these vintage drawers…
…and you knew we would have to have a pretty chalkboard included 🙂
We love reading each card over and over again…
We think the graphics on the backs of the cards are just as pretty…
Our guests really liked our guest book idea. We love that our guests wrote such heartfelt wishes that we can keep for a lifetime! Thanks for letting me share a bit more about our special day. We will share more with you this week 🙂
is there nothing you two aren’t completely genius at! these are AMAZING! thanks for the inspiration 🙂
CoCo…you are SO sweet and dare we say – astute LOL! Once those creative juices get flowing is when we have the most fun 🙂
Great way for guests to share in your wonderful day! So personal and pretty! I see “postcard reading” for many anniversaries to come 🙂 Bwg ~~~
Thanks Bobbi! We definitely love our tunes 🙂
Jennifer and Vicki, I love this vintage postcard idea and it’s something you’ll always have and fun to pull out on Anniversaries and enjoy. You gals are sooo creative. Have a great day, Lisa
Thanks again Lisa. We love this idea because…instead of guests just signing their names in a book – they actually wrote out heartfelt wishes!
