Thrift Store Brass Tray…

I’m popping in today with a quick brag…umm, I mean post about another great thrift store find.  Now, don’t be jealous…I found a hammered brass tray for 10 cents!  This tray is real brass and has some weight to it.  There was definitely a bit of tarnish and pitting, but I figured for 10 cents it was worth the purchase.

It was brought back to life with just a little brass cleaner.I had a bottle of Brasso brass cleaner on hand.  I didn’t wear gloves with this product but you do need to be careful to not get into your eyes or on your clothing.  It kind of smells like hair perm solution – gross 🙂
