Fresh Basil Butter is super easy to make. It is delicious on cornbread, rolls, steak and more!

Making herb-infused butter is easier than you think. Here is my easy recipe for fresh basil butter.

This summer my basil plants have grown like crazy! When the outdoor heat became too much, I brought my plants inside. I actually like having the plants on my kitchen counter, because I can conveniently use the basil in a lot of my cooking. Basil is fabulous in garden salads too.

You only need two ingredients for this recipe – a stick of butter and some fresh basil. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

Well…maybe 3 things. Patience to let the butter soften. LOL

We couldn’t wait to slather this butter onto hot, homemade cornbread muffins.

It’s equally delicious on most breads, such as French loaf, sourdough and Italian bread.

This butter is also a great flavor enhancer for grilled steak. Just before you remove your streak from the grill, add a dollop of this to the top. It helps keep the steak moist as well.

We hope you give this recipe a try!
