In the past two weeks, I have gotten the Spring fever bug! The weather has been gorgeous here on the weekends, which is giving me the motivation to not only do some Spring cleaning, but also to refresh some of my home decor, like this end table. We got this industrial spool table from Kara’s parents and it has been a staple in our living room for the past 5 years.
I again am doing everything on a budget and did not buy anything new for my end table spring refresh. I bought this pair of prints from HomeGoods about a year ago thinking I could use them somewhere. And I did find a spot for them, but it took me the entire year to do so haha. I am loving the little pop of color they give the space.
When I got married we had everyone write well wishes on vintage postcards and I use them throughout our home decor. This is one of my favorites.
Y’all know we also love succulents and mom got these faux succulents for me, which were only $2 a piece from again, HomeGoods.
During the spring and summer, I love bringing out different baskets to decorate with and add another layer of texture.
And of course we can’t forget about using books to decorate with…
Putting a little Spring refresh on this end table only took me about 20 minutes to do and it made the space feel lighter and brighter. I have said it before and I will say it again. A lot of times when you’re ready to change up your decor, it really is just taking a moment to look at the things you already have and moving the items around. That way you are not breaking the bank, but still getting to revamp your living room, bedroom, entryway, etc. It is a win win!
Love all of the different layers of texture you’ve created here, Jenn, everything looks so pretty and relaxing. I love it all! Hugs, CoCo
OMGOSH you have given me such a great idea for faux succulents! Can’t wait to shop!
