There is nothing that I love more than an easy makeover project. See how to easily make a DIY rose gold charger – Dollar Tree.

Recently our family was on a mountain-getaway vacation in a cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. It was the perfect time to unplug, de-stress – and shop LOL. Jenn and I went to thrift stores, antique shops and more. We were surprised that this little town had a Dollar Tree. Initially we were in search of their Christmas decor. No luck as they were just beginning to unpack it all. We weren’t deterred as we always find something! I found some plastic silver chargers that I knew would be perfect for my Thanksgiving tablescape. DIY rose gold charger – Dollar Tree style!

This is a super simple makeover, but the change is pretty dramatic. As soon as I saw the silver plate chargers I knew what I wanted to do. Also, I love the beaded rim around the charger.

The new color makes such a difference. I want to stress that the silver charger is perfectly fine to use – just not my style at the moment.

By painting them rose gold, they will blend and enhance my Thanksgiving table. The flecks of metal add depth and character to the rose gold finish.

Next week I will share my completed Thanksgiving tablescape. Have you been to the Dollar Tree lately?
