I can’t wait to share my Christmas Shadow Box – Let’s Get Cozy!
Welcome to our Christmas Festival Blog Hop and my Christmas Shadow Box – Let’s Get Cozy. You are in for an absolute treat because this hop will be going on each day this week with 24 of our blogging besties. We will share Christmas DIY projects, front porches, recipes, mantels and tablescapes. Who can’t feel festive after all of this inspiration?
If you are visiting us from our lovely and talented host Kendra from Joy in our Home, hello! Wasn’t her tiered farmhouse tray fabulous? Now let me share my easy DIY project with you, a Christmas Shadow Box – Let’s Get Cozy!
It All started at the Thrift Store
It all started with this $1.00 thrift store shadow box.
After removing it from the box, it looked like this.
Mad for Plaid
In my Christmas stash I have this beautiful red and black buffalo check wrapping paper embellished with gold deer.
After carefully measuring, I cut a piece a wrapping paper to fit inside the shadow box.
Next, I used these large white stickers to spell out my phrase “Let’s Get Cozy”. With our family, this is our seasonal goal! LOL
I didn’t want the lettering to look too perfect.
After the lettering was in place I added pieces of bark and wood slices as well as a white bottlebrush tree. It may seem strange to y’all, but these bits and pieces of wood are in my collection. I keep them in a wooden bowl with moss balls. Natural elements are some of my favorite things to collect – feathers, nests, hives and more.
My Christmas decor this year is red, plaid and buffalo check. The Christmas shadow box – let’s get cozy message fit in perfectly in the cozy plaid family room. You can see the full tour HERE.
I hop that you like my easy to create shadowbox! You can honestly make one in minutes for your own home.

Now you’re in for a treat. My dear friend Lindsay of My Creative Days is up next and she has made a beautiful serving tray!
Don’t forget to come back and visit each day this week!
