Y’all, I’m not going to lie…between wedding planning, working a 9-5 job, working on various blog related projects, and managing a booth space, it is all driving me to drink! I was getting tired of the same ole glass of wine or bottle of beer and wanted to create something new. I just did some experimenting and created this special bev that I think is the perfect refreshing summer drink. I love being able to incorporate the basil from my garden, as well as Georgia peaches! It’s also a healthier cocktail option since I use club soda instead of tonic (at least that’s what I tell myself, haha).
I don’t have a muddler, but I just use the back of a wood spoon and it works just fine 🙂
I love this pitcher we got on our last trip to St. Augustine. There is a great store in Old Town called Market to Market we always go to. All of the pieces are handmade and painted, which we love!
This really is such a light and refreshing drink for the summer and has become more of a go to drink in our household. It’s nice to change things up a bit 🙂 Cheers Y’all!
