Summer Lemon Inspired Mantel

Okay, I admit it. I’m a little obsessed with all-things-lemon right now. Even lemon-infused recipes are finding their way into my “new dishes to try” folder. Maybe it’s the bright and happy yellow color. Also, this color pairs perfectly with my blue and white decor. When I recently spotted these lemon branches at Target, I just had to have them. I instantly knew that they would look beautiful as Summer lemon inspired mantel decor.

Just change a couple of things

Instantly cheerful, right? When changing up my seasonal decor, I want the process to be easy. As you can see I only added lemon branches to white vases. I also added the decoupage vase that I made last week. These simple additions make for a big impact.

If you have been following us for awhile, then you know that we are fairly picky regarding faux foliage and flowers. Lets be honest – fresh lemons aren’t growing in my backyard. LOL. These lemon branches – and particularly the lemons themselves look fairly authentic.

I love how it pairs with blue and white chinoiserie ginger jars.

I move these jars all around my house when I want to change things up. They have been in the dining, kitchen and even the guest powder room.

DIY Decoupage Vase

You know how much I love budget decor. My new favorite project to date is this decoupage vase made with a container from Dollar Tree and paper napkins. Also, the hydrangea bushes are fully loaded with gorgeous blooms right now.
