Sleigh Bell Christmas Wreath

Jenn and I are big believers in reusing our Christmas decor each year in new ways. This sleigh bell Christmas wreath was created with items I already own.

There is no need to spend a lot of money every year for Christmas ornaments or decor. I make a lot of my own ornaments like, Snow Globe Ornaments, Fabric Wrapped Ornaments or Easy DIY Personalized Christmas Ornaments.

Wreaths are no different. Each year I try to change the decor for my front door wreath. A Woodland Moss Christmas Wreath and Easy DIY Christmas Wreath with Lantern are a couple of the past wreaths that I’ve made. Let’s get started with this wreath!

Supplies

  • wreath
  • plaid ribbon
  • sleigh bells
  • deer ornament
  • red string of faux berries

Recycled Christmas Wreath for the front door

Luckily, a friend gifted me these sleigh bells after she closed down her antique booth. Great friend, right?

I think that most of us have one of these evergreen wreaths hanging out in our attics, basements or garages.

You can adorn your wreath with any ornament that you like. An oversized ornament works best as it creates a statement as the centerpiece. Personally, I love deer so this ornament was perfect.

This is how I put it all together – easy-peasy!

Front Door Greeting

Your friends and neighbors will love to visit your front door. And the little jingle-jangle of the bells makes me so happy.

This wreath only took a few minutes to put together.

The best part is that nothing is glued down. I can easily take everything off to create a new wreath next year!

If you don’t have sleigh bells, string together several craft store jingle bells for the same effect.

Have you ever made a Christmas wreath?
