Spring Stamped Book Stack
Currently, being housebound, I have had to be extra creative with my Spring decor. Other than a super cute bunny pillow and some greenery, I didn’t purchase anything new – I didn’t even pull anything down from the attic. I have had to make do with what is already in the house or crammed in a drawer. Can you relate? This led me to create a spring stamped book stack.
Over a year ago I shared how to Chalk Paint Books. I realize that painting book covers can be a controversial topic.
To be perfectly clear, these books are not precious nor do they hold any value. Actually a couple of these books were only .10¢ each and were just a day away from being incinerated. I use them everyday in my home decor and love how they look.
Wanting to use them in a different way for my spring decor, I decided to stamp the spines on two of the books.
Stamp it out
By the way, if you don’t have stamps and an ink pad, think of using stickers, a marker or paints.
This could not have been an easier project and only took a couple of minutes to create.
The letters were purposely stamped in an imperfect line to create a sense of movement.
Do you want to know the best part? After Easter I can simply paint over the letters and put the books back into my regular home decor.
Have you ever painted books or made a stamped stack set?
