Christmas gift wrap ideas with oversized book page name tag cutouts.

Since the holidays are officially in full-swing, we know that a lot of you are looking for fun and creative ways to gift wrap your Christmas presents. You’ve already gone to the trouble of finding your loved ones the must-have, perfect gifts. Now, how are you going to wrap them? Sit back and relax – we’ve got you covered!

If you’re new here to 2 Bees in a Pod, welcome – we are so glad that you are here! Jenn and I are a mother/daughter blogging team that loves DIY, home decor and getting great deals at HomeGoods! For those of you that already follow us, we greatly appreciate you.

Make it special

I’m a firm believer that the wrapping should be just as special as the gift is. Maybe even more so really. I love adding a personal touch to my gift wrapping especially at Christmastime. This season I’m all about vintage book page everything! I’ve created book page projects in the past, but this Christmas season I’ve really stepped it up. So far I’ve made a Miniature Book Page Wreath, Magnolia Wreath and a Book Page Ornament. When I thought about my Christmas gift wrap an idea suddenly came to me – oversized book page name tag cutouts.

  • Find a font that you like.
  • Enlarge the font to desired size. Type gift recipients name and and print.
  • Trim around printed name and tape it to vintage book page.
  • Cutout name
  • Use fine tip glue applicator to apply name to gift package.

How cute is this? You didn’t think I would leave myself off of the list did you?

The oversize book page name tag cutouts really pop on the packages. I chose basic brown kraft paper because it makes all of the other elements the star of the show.

Embellishments

As if the book page name tag cutouts weren’t perfect enough, don’t forget to add super cute embellishments too. They don’t need to be expensive either. Look for packaged items at dollar stores, HomeGoods and the Dollar Spot. On the gift below I found the cute mini trees in a package of 10 for $1.00. The wooden tags had 6 different phrases for $2.00. Who doesn’t love jingle bells at Christmastime? This ribbon was really garland.

Faux fur mitten ornament – $1.00.

Don’t you want to see your family’s names in oversized book page name tag cutouts?

  1. These are so awesome! I love this idea so much! I think this would be a fun project for kids to do. In the past, I have let my boys cut out felt shapes to glue onto bags. I think old book pages would be amazing to do this with! I can’t wait to try it.
