Using neutrals in your Fall mantel decor.
First we just want to say that we hope everyone stayed safe during Hurricane Irma. We have a lot of family and friends in Florida, and luckily everyone made it through with minimal damage. We even got our own gusts of wind and felt the effects. You all are in our thoughts and prayers!
Now onto more fun things, like Fall mantel decor! We are teaming up with some of our blogging friends to provide you inspiration for your own fall mantel. A big thank you to our friend Amy of My Life from Home for hosting!
Fall Mantel Decor in Neutrals
This year, I have been leaning more towards neutral fall decor and using more whites and light greens. Certainly some orange will make an appearance in my other decor, but for my Fall mantel decor, I wanted to keep it light. I went down to the crawl space, which is honestly a hot mess and needs to be reorganized. None of my Fall and Christmas decor is labeled, so it was loads of fun trying to find my Fall decor boxes. A project for another day!
As you know I love to do things on a budget and use the decor I already have. This wagon wheel was a curbside find from last year. You can’t beat free!
I did add a few green elements that I found at the Target dollar spot and couldn’t resist. How many times did I go to Target waiting for them to put out their Fall decor in the dollar spot? Too many! But I luck out there every time.
This is a great free Fall printable you can get from A Night Owl Blog.
I love mixing different textures like the rustic wood box and wagon wheel with the vintage loving cup.
It’s a little more simple than mantels I have done in the past, but I love how it turned out. All of the elements blend well together.
