As the weeks progress towards Fall, I introduce more and more of the season into my home decor. This weekend I created a Fall centerpiece for my coffee table.

I maintained the blue and white color theme throughout my home while adding touches of nature.

Y’all know that I love decorating with trays, especially vintage hammered aluminum. I didn’t even realize until I started putting the centerpiece together that the tray had a decorative Fall edge.

See the pumpkins?

This adorable white squirrel is a recent purchase from HomeGoods. Jenn and I were able to meet for a bit of shopping and girl-time on Saturday. It was a great day and it really soothed my soul. Nothing like spending time together and sharing the adrenaline rush of shopping. We saw so many cute and adorable home decor items. It was hard to decide which ones to leave behind. This squirrel was a keeper for sure!

Items from other rooms were used for this centerpiece. My favorite decorating items from nature were used too…a feather and a pinecone from the yard.

The cobalt blue bottle is from my collection. I love the bright blue color and vintage graphics. It’s hard to believe that this bottle is over 80 years old!

I wanted to create a simple centerpiece with a bit of color. It is the perfect transition from Summer to Fall. I plan to change this centerpiece again as fall arrives in all of its splendor. Stay tuned as Jenn and I will continue to share our home decor ideas!

  1. Thanks for teaching us that you can still decorate for fall without using the traditional colors. This tray really evokes the season in a whole new way. Beautiful!
