Hey y’all…Do you feel like you’re trying to beat the Christmas clock? I’m starting to hear the tick-tick-tick that signifies I better get to shopping and menu planning. We are having a very low-key holiday this year so there really isn’t a lot to prepare for. I feel so calm and laid back that I’m afraid I may have forgotten something very important 🙂

I’m sharing my final Christmas decor tweaks. I needed to create something for the family room coffee table because I used those decorations in the dining room.

This is another super quick craft for Christmas decor. Today is all about Christmas terrariums. This isn’t a new craft – I’m sure you’ve seen these all over the internet – but they are new to me. I’ve never made them before, and frankly, I don’t know what took me so long! These turned out so cute.

Materials I used:

  • 3 glass containers
  • faux snow
  • clear vase filler from the dollar store
  • mini bottle brush trees
  • ornaments
  • twigs
  • vintage ceramic deer

These could not be any easier to make.

Pour snow or vase filler in the bottom of a clear glass container.  I added 3 mini trees and an ornament…that’s it! I told you this was simple.

This container has mini trees, a snowman ornament and twigs for a more rustic look.

This cracker jar terrarium is sentimental to me. I have had this little ceramic fawn since I was a little girl.

She has the sweetest face. Sorry that the images seem blurry – this glass was so hard to photograph.

They look so good grouped together on the coffee table. These terrariums only took about 5 minutes to make – total time for all three! They were really that quick to do and they were so much fun to put together.

So, I guess it is time to declare that my Christmas decorating is officially complete. No more tweaking, no more moving things around. I’m ready to enjoy drinking hot cocoa (or a special bev) in front of a cozy fire with Honey Bee, gazing at our beautiful Christmas tree and knowing how lucky we are at our most favorite time of year!

Until Monday…

XO~Vicki
