Hey y’all! I hope you’re having a great week. Today I am sharing with you all my Summer Front Porch Garden Tour. Mom showed you her patio on Monday, which you can see HERE. We were invited by our friend Tara of Lehman Lane to share our outdoor spaces.
I have to say, I love my front porch! It stays shaded all day and is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a good book on the porch swing. The one hard part about the porch is it is pretty long, so it has taken me this past year to acquire enough furniture so it doesn’t look barren and sad. This is in all honesty the best the porch has ever looked and has easily become one of my favorite spots.
For summer I wanted to add pops of blues, greens, and turquoises. I am loving these planters from the Better Homes & Garden collection.
I thought fresh herbs would be perfect for my antique plant stand. I just took terra cotta pots and spray painted them white. And I always have my galvanized tub on the porch.
I found this bird’s nest in our yard that had unfortunately been abandoned, but was able to find a new home for it on the plant stand.
Isn’t that bee pillow adorable?!
Also love my new welcome mat from Target for another pop of color.
Boston Ferns are the perfect addition for the front porch and are also perfect for the summer heat.
This stained glass was handmade by one of my best friend’s grandfathers and I’ve had it for years.
Luckily with my parents move I was able to inherit these two pieces of wicker furniture.
Nothing says summer to me like an ice cold lemonade or orange soda. I remember summer trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains where we’d always stop at a general store to get an ice cold Nehi.
I can’t wait to enjoy many more nights on my now completed front porch.

Great pops of colours in your outdoor spaces. Turquoise always catches my eye. It looks like a lovely spot to entertain too.
You’re so lucky to have such a big front porch! I love the plant stand, and the stained glass window, what a special piece!
Your porch is beautiful! One of my favorite things about Victorian houses are their large porches. I also love that you salvaged that sweet little bird’s nest 🙂 And that stained glass window is gorgeous – what an awesome piece to have!
