We’re so excited because today we are teaming up with some of our blogging friends to show off our front porches all decked out for Christmas! Be sure to go to the end of our post to get more awesome inspiration! And thank you to Amy of Atta Girl Says for organizing this festive hop. Living in a 1901 Victorian home in a historic neighborhood has some perks. Like having an amazing front porch! Since the home is historic, I tend to decorate the porch in a more traditional Christmas style.

Looking back through the years, I also always go for a classic green and red look as well. The red really pops on this traditional Christmas front porch. Plus I can’t begin to tell you how many red ornaments I actually own…it’s a problem. I also told myself, since I already have so much Christmas decor, that I wasn’t going to buy anything new this year. Who was I kidding?! I got a great deal on the wreath and Christmas tree set from Home Depot that I just couldn’t be passed up.

One of the reasons why I have soooo many red ornaments is that I tend to go overboard each year at the Dollar Store. The ornaments make great filler either on the Christmas tree, or in a vase, or basket. You get the idea!

Front Porch traditional Christmas

I am a sucker for bottle brush trees and honestly use them wherever I can around my house each year. I just think they are the sweetest little things.

This cute wooden sleigh was a great find at HomeGoods a couple of years ago. It’s so versatile and a great staple piece for Christmas.

Another great HomeGoods find. I love this pillow so much and have had it for years. The red blanket, which fits this traditional Christmas front porch so well, was a find on one of my trips to Ireland.

Love this wreath I got as a set from Home Depot and it lights up, which makes it even more perfect. Also found the cute little welcome mat at Target, which was another addition to this year’s decor.

Everyone loves a rustic wooden crate and adorable sign, right? The sign was an awesome buy last year from the Target dollar spot, which usually gets me in trouble.
