Snowfall in Atlanta

If you’re not from Atlanta, you’ve still probably heard about the snow we received and the effects it had on the city. I complained when it took me over 2 hours to get home from work, but when I learned of the magnitude the storm had on the roads, I realized I had nothing to complain about. I was grateful that I made it home at all, when so many people were left stranded on the highway for hours.
The roads were so bad, Atlanta was even on People…who would have thought? This picture makes me think of the Walking Dead…scary!
But when all was said and done, there is nothing quite like the beauty of snow falling at night. I loved looking out my window and watching the snow fall, something that is all too rare in the South. I also think my house looks pretty cute with snow.
Teddy also enjoyed playing in the snow.
Soon it will all be gone, which I’m sure most people in Atlanta will be happy about. And while I will be glad to not be cooped up in my house, I will miss the feeling I get when it snows…I love being able to sit by the fire and drink hot cocoa 🙂
