Easy Christmas Evergreen Centerpiece
Let’s be honest. When the holiday season rolls around, time is precious. All of us are busy decorating, cleaning, cooking and possibly readying our homes for company. The last thing we want to do is spend a lot of time and money on holiday decor. Here is an idea for an easy Christmas evergreen centerpiece.
This truly came together in a matter of minutes!
Hold It
The first thing you need is a festive container. I had this oversized can in my Christmas stash. You could also use a cylindrical vase or pottery piece.
This can is not watertight, so I placed a large mason jar inside of it. Clipped evergreens drink up a lot of water, just like a Christmas tree. You could you something like THIS.
Here’s what you need:
- container
- mason jar for water
- clipped evergreens from your yard, Christmas tree lot or your own Christmas tree
- red berries (faux or real)
- twigs from the yard
Faux berries can look so authentic, don’t you think?
I just added all of the elements to the Mason jar, then placed the jar inside of the container.
Look at how cute this is!
The twigs really add height and interest to the centerpiece.
Red really pops with color. It is already making me think of next years decor LOL!
Keep adding fresh water and this centerpiece will last for weeks!
