Are y’all ready for Christmas? I can’t believe it’s just days away! I know I’ve shown you bits of my dining room in the last 2 months with the dining room furniture makeover and the DIY “Be Merry” banner for the mantel, but I haven’t shown you the room in its entirety. I’m excited to take you on a dining room Christmas tour today.

We have out of town guests arriving tomorrow and we’ll be celebrating Christmas at our house, which to be honest is a first for us. Of course I want everything to look perfect and I am so happy with how the dining room décor turned out. I wanted to use décor that would match our curtains, which I love, so I opted to decorate in grays, yellows, and white.

I’ve had the stained glass I hung in the window for years and it fits in perfectly into this room.

Instead of purchasing a tablecloth, I got this awesome plaid fabric at Hancock Fabrics, which was 50% off, so I ended up only paying about $7 for it!

I think this pillow sums things up nicely 🙂

I love this little nook in the dining room…

I got this buffet at a great store in Atlanta a few years ago…my original thought had been to paint it for the new house, but I decided that I loved how it looked and decided to keep it natural.

I needed to add height to the buffet, so I added this white vase with some Christmas tree trimmings and cotton I had in my stash…so simple.

I got these great galvanized metal ornaments from Michael’s for 50%…such a great deal!

Christmas Dining Room Tour

I absolutely love the dining room and it really does give me so much joy that the house is finally coming together.  For several months, nothing truly felt done or decorated in the home, and I definitely wasn’t in a position to entertain guests.  I’m excited to be hosting Christmas this year and can’t wait to create new traditions, as well as stay true to the old ones.

XO, Jenn
