I created an amber bottle fall vignette with an item from my grandmother’s laundry room. It’s the simple things that matter most.

In my latest clean and purge binge I was shocked when I came across my grandmas’s amber glass Clorox bottle. I honestly thought that this treasured item was packed away in our storage unit. Lo and behold it was wrapped up in a box in the garage. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to unwrap this beauty as it is really the only memento I have of grandma’s.  Can you believe that this is how Clorox Bleach used to be packaged way back in the day? Anyway, when I rediscovered this goodness I knew it would be perfect for an amber bottle fall vignette.

Keep it Simples

Use our tips from this post 8 Tips for Making Beautiful Vignettes. I used a weathered gray wicker tray, painted white books, a white pumpkin, feathers and a favorite vetiver and vanilla candle in amber glass. You can find one HERE. Trust me, it smells amazing!

Every time I look at this vignette it brings me joy. I instantly think of my grandmother and simpler days of my youth.

When the sunlight hits the amber bottle it lights up just the way it did on grandma’s shelf. Even though she only had this as a display item in her home, I knew it was special to her.

That’s why it is special to me in my home. I’m so glad that I was able to take it out of the box and display for an amber bottle fall vignette. I just know grandma would be thrilled. It’s the little things that matter most.

Do you have a treasured family item that you display in your home. We would love to hear about it!

  1. Nobody does blue and white and amber bottles like you guys! These are so pretty and I love how you were inspired by your Grandmother too. I know she would be really proud of all you guys have accomplished. I can hardly believe it’s already time to transition from Fall to the holidays already. I can’t wait to see what you guys have in store for us. Hugs, CoCo
