We are both having so much fun showing a different room of our homes each week for this virtual tour of homes. If you joined us last week, we showed y’all our Victorian Farmhouse Kitchen. This week is all about Living Room Decor!

Sadie is excited too and ready to show off her favorite place in the home, the living room. I pulled my camera out and she immediately sat in front of it to get her picture taken. She is the cutest! (And such a ham for the camera haha!)

Teddy on the other hand would rather sleep then be in front of the camera…

I’ve had this industrial railroad cart, which is the real thing, for quite a while. I honestly don’t ever see me giving this piece of furniture up. It’s one of my favorite pieces.

I’m also loving this English Ivy plant I got from an adorable store in Madison, GA, one of our favorite small towns.

This mantel is one area I struggle with. The color of the wood isn’t quite my style, but it’s original to the house. To paint or not to paint? It’s a question I ask myself quite often, but am too afraid to go for it.

If y’all follow us on Instagram, you would have seen in our IG stories that I just got a fiddle leaf fig. So excited about it! I’ve been thinking about getting one for a while now. Every time I was at the store, they were either sold out or they did not look good. Saturday was my lucky day! And I kid you not, three people in Home Depot stopped me to talk about the tree. One woman even rolled down her window in the parking lot to ask what kind of tree it was. I was feeling pretty good haha!

To see how we painted our armoire we off all of the details in this post:

I love displaying my vintage camera collection (not all shown here 🙂 ) on top of the cabinet. The ceilings in this Victorian home are so tall and it’s sometimes hard to fill that extra space. The cameras give it a little more height.

  1. Jenn your living room is so pretty and I love all of the nature inspired elements you brought in to make it feel cozy too. I’m super excited about your fiddle leaf fig. They are so pretty. Big hugs to you and the pups, CoCo

  2. I adore this space! I would never get rid of your industrial cart either! I would not paint the mantel just because of the fact that it’s original. Your camera collection is swoon-worthy and I love all the pops of color that blend so nicely in your space. Great job!

  3. I love your living room so much – that railroad cart is amazing, and I love how you mix vintage pieces with color and pattern. I hear you on the fireplace mantel – it’s gorgeous but I can see why you’d want to paint it to fit more with your color palette – that’s a tough one!

  4. Your space is adorable and so are your sweet dogs! The railroad cart is amazing! I wouldn’t want to let that go either. Fiddle left fig trees are my fav! Congrats on getting yours!

  5. What beautiful pics, and I just love your coffee table. Thanks for the inspiration.
