Fall is finally in the air and we are so excited! This weekend the temperature got in the 50’s, which we just love. With the weather getting cooler, it definitely helps to inspire us more with our Fall décor. And we are excited to share not only our rustic fall mantel with you today, but we have also teamed up with some of our blogging friends to give you even more inspiration.
I knew I wanted the focus of the mantel to be this painting of Christina’s World by Andrew Wyeth, which is one of my favorites. I love the field and farmhouse and thought it would be perfect to use for Fall. I decided to place it in this rustic box that I got at Goodwill months ago for a great deal.
I also purchased bags of these pumpkins for about a dollar each, which you can’t beat! I loved the yellow and red orange pumpkins and thought they’d go great on the mantel for pops of color. If you follow us on instagram, you may remember that I also found this gourd at my neighborhood garden center for a steal. How lucky am I that it matches my decor?
I of course had to incorporate one of my favorite natural decor items…cotton.
I am so lucky with this new house because we have 4 fireplaces. Now, not all of them work, but there is just something about a fireplace that makes a home cozy to me. And this one has to be my favorite one because of this amazing cast iron screen with the adorable deer. Such a beautiful piece in this home that I absolutely love.
I really love how this rustic fall mantel turned out. I wanted it to fit within the season, but not be too over the top and I feel like I accomplished that. This mantel can definitely carry me through the Fall season and did I mention I am so excited that Fall is finally here?
Thanks so much for stopping by…hope you like what you see!

Really pretty mantel set up, I love it! I love that your home has so many fireplaces too- working or not, how charming is that. (where do you get cotton? Does it grow where you live?)

Wow 4 fireplaces! That would be amazing. As always you ladies did a beautiful job! What a perfect rustic country fall mantle. It makes me wish for hot cider and a ride through that wheat field. Thanks for sharing!

It just so happens that I currently live in Andrew Wyeth’s home town of Chadds Ford, PA. I think most of his paintings were from the landscape here. I have “Master Bedroom” (a print of course) and I can see why yours is such a favorite!
Beautiful mantel!

I adore that painting, and you’re right, it’s perfect for a rustic fall mantel. I’m also insanely jealous of the fact that you have 4 fireplaces (working or not) and that gorgeous deer cover. Your mantel decor is beautiful.
