Although we posted a lot of great crafts, ideas, and recipes, we are far from over sharing more Christmas decor with you. Like this DIY rustic Merry Christmas sign I made. When we moved into our home 3 years ago, I found this awesome piece in one of the closets. I didn’t know what I was going to do with it or what it had been used for, but I’ve held onto it all this time because I knew I could eventually use it for something.
After Thanksgiving I was thinking about what things I could do to zhush up my front porch since I’ve been doing the same thing for the last couple of years and the idea hit me! I should use this already rustic piece that is already painted red and stencil “Merry Christmas” on it in white. I mean, how easy would that be?! I’ll admit I had a slightly hard time finding the right sized stencil, but I finally found the right one. I also love that the paint I got is called Snow White! How perfect?!
I absolutely love how my DIY rustic Merry Christmas sign turned out and it is exactly what I was hoping for!
