Vintage Silver Sugar Bowls and Christmas Bottlebrush Trees
Happy Friday friends. Are you finalizing Thanksgiving plans? I’m hosting 21 people this year in our little townhouse. Time has taught me that, it’s not the size of my house that matters, but rather the people that I share it with. I am so excited to celebrate with family and friends. In the meantime, I have had to be super organized and creative with this years Christmas decor. I have DIY’d and crafted so many things in preparation for Christmas. Everything needed to be quick and easy. This is how I came up with these Vintage Silver Sugar Bowls and Christmas Bottlebrush Trees.
Love Vintage Silver Pieces
It is no secret that I love most things vintage. I especially love items that remind me of family and happy times. Vintage silver and silver trays, urns and sugar bowls are some of my favorites. Typically these pieces are plentiful at the thrift store.
Supplies:
- Vintage silver sugar bowls
- Faux Snow
- Miniature bottlebrush trees in various sizes and colors
How to:
- Gather sugar bowls
- Fill with faux snow
- Add bottlebrush trees
That’s it!
These little cuties are the perfect Christmas decor addition.
Display them in a grouping or individually. They are perfect to nestle on a shelf or showcase on a tabletop. Wouldn’t they look cute in the dining room or kitchen?
The vintage silver sugar bowls are so pretty. I love the tarnished patina and etched designs. These beauties were thrift store purchases for just $1 each. I have used them for a succulent garden and as a painted chalkboard. Wouldn’t a large grouping of silver trays look amazing on a dining room wall?
Oh…remember to save the faux snow in a Zip-loc baggie for next year.
At the thrift store, I am always on the hunt for silver and silver plate items. They look so pretty when used in a different way. Do you collect vintage silver?
You always have such great ideas, Ladies. I need to do a low key Christmas as far as decorating and these will be perfect as I have everything!
You guys always find the best stuff! I love, love, love this gorgeous idea and how quick and easy they were too. Several of my aunts are going to be bananas for these beauties so I’m going to be on the hunt for sugar bowls now and surprise them. Big hugs, CoCo
