We love spending time outside when the cooler temperatures roll in. Today we’re sharing some of our outdoor essentials for Fall.

Happy Friday y’all! Although it has been unseasonably warm so far, we are all set to spend some time outside once it cools down some. We especially love spending nights around the fire pit, drinking hot cocoa, or perhaps a special bev, and eating smores. Today we are sharing with you some of our outdoor essentials for Fall. This post contains affiliate links for your convenience.

First things first, you need a Fire Pit! You can either build your own, which is on our to do list. Or, you can purchase one, which is what we have done until we can find the time.

You can make your own scented fire pit starters and you can get the how to details HERE. Or, you can make things easier for yourself and get these fire starters below. They have all sorts of different fragrances like cinnamon, pine tree, smores, etc.

Also, I found these and thought they would be fun to use one night. They are color cones and they change the color of the fire!

Loving these rustic wooden lanterns for the front porch or back deck. Or they would even be cute in the fire pit area.

One of our favorite pastimes, which we unfortunately haven’t done recently, is camping. My uncle makes some great recipes using his dutch oven and the Camp Dutch Oven Cookbook is perfect for those wanting to cook over an open fire. You could even try it in your back yard.

For those looking to make something a little simpler over an open fire, who can resist the tastiness of smores?! These marshmallow roasting sticks are so cute. How do y’all like your smores? Do you like the traditional way, or do you add anything fun? I love them with nutella.

Last but not least, you of course need a cozy blanket to spend some time on the cool nights.
